Recently I’ve discovered another way to incorporate more colour into my make-up look and I’m absolutely obsessed with it. I’m a sucker for winged eyeliner, but also, every time I ignore my colourful eyeshadows a tear rolls down my cheek. So I said to myself: “Why not have both of them?!”
If you already can’t help yourself from giving wings to your eyes and you don’t mind using a pop of colour from time to time, but you’re too scared you might turn into a Scarlet Macaw Parrot, then this technique might be your new best friend! I like to call it Ombre Winged Eyeliner. And if you don’t want to spend money on colourful eyeliners that you might use only once, what I would recommend is to use a mixing medium to transform your eyeshadows into eyeliners. What I like to use is The Sealing Gel from Illamasqua, but you can try water or a fixing spray as well.
Here are some pictures with the latest one I’ve done and down below you can find all the products I’ve used as well. Don’t shy away from sharing yours with me!
