Outfit of the week-October πŸπŸƒπŸ‚ Mustard yellow and over the knee socks

Autumn is my favourite season when it comes to fashion and make-up. I always feel very inspired by its colours and textures. I don’t even mind the moody weather we have in London.

And my love for mint green has been quickly replaced with mustard yellow. I just can’t get enough of this beautiful colour. Every time I tell someone that mustard yellow is my favourite colour now, I get flashbacks with younger blonde me hating this colour with such a great passion to the point I was almost throwing up just seeing it. Well, look at me now covering my face and body in this colour.

With that being said, I wanted to create an outfit around this mustard yellowΒ top I found in a charity shop. I thought it was going to look the best with something high waist, so I paired it with my favourite shorts from Forever 21. I love these jeans ’cause they have a vintage vibe with the buttons on both sides. I also wanted to wear my over the knee socks, due to the cold weather we’ve been dealing with over the past weeks. All was left to do was accessorising. So, I threw my beret on and then I got into my beloved Dr. Martens boots, but it still felt like something was missing. Then I realised that I was waiting for a long time to wear my boyfriend’s shirt stays and this was actually the perfect outfit for them. And voila! My outfit was complete and ready to go out in the world. Oh, and obviously I had to wear a coat as well, but I forgot to take pictures with it. Oops!
